VAX VacationAccess Offers New Certification Programs

travel agentVAX VacationAccess reports the launch of their new certification programs for agents, providing them the skills necessary to become experts at selling leisure travel products.

VAX VacationAccess says it implemented a new Certification Program offering in June.

The certification programs offer in-depth selling strategies for participating supplier brands. Oasis Hotels & Resorts hosted the inaugural certification program, starting with a live webinar on June 6, VAX notes.

“Our properties have undergone extensive renovations and improvements, so it was imperative for us to educate our travel agent partners on the newly upgraded product and unique vacation experiences Oasis Hotels & Resorts now offers” said Enrique Klein, VP Sales & Marketing at Oasis Hotels & Resorts.

“VAX VacationAccess was the perfect platform for us to customize our new YES! Travel Agent Certification Program. We can reach a high number of quality travel agents, and provide them with the education and support they need to confidently and successfully sell the Oasis product to their clients while also earning upgraded commission," Klein said.

Upon completion of the certification program, agents are able to integrate what they have learned to sell the brand’s product offerings effectively and may be rewarded for their time and interest with incentives and increased earning opportunities, VAX said.

“The travel industry changes frequently, placing demands on travel professionals to expand their knowledge and skill set,” says Noel Fitzgerald, director of agency and supplier relationships for VAX.

“VAX VacationAccess is committed to upholding the highest standard of excellence by bringing easy access to relevant industry tools and information on one convenient platform. We are excited to have the opportunity to provide agents with these certification programs that will enable them to better market these products and cultivate productive and profitable relationships with vacation suppliers, hotels, destinations and other participating members of the leisure travel industry, “ Fitzgerald said.

VAX VacationAccess notes it services over 100,000 agents providing travel professionals with free access to research, market and sell agent-friendly suppliers on one platform.
