Terry Dale, president and CEO of The United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA), reports that VBT Bicycling & Walking Vacations, specializing in group bicycling, walking and cross-country ski tours worldwide, has joined the association as its newest Active Member. USTOA now has 46 corporate members representing more than 150 brands.
“We are delighted to welcome VBT to our membership,” added Dale. “Adventure tourism is a growing market, as many of today’s travelers are seeking physical activity, nature-based and cultural experiences as a part of their journeys. VBT brings to USTOA a deep expertise in this area.”

Founded in 1971 by a Middlebury College professor, VBT offers deluxe, small group bicycling, walking and cross-country ski tours worldwide, including destinations in Europe, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Vietnam, Thailand, Peru, Argentina, Canada and the United States.
