American Airlines announced that has become the first AA partner to implement American’s Direct Connect technology. began implementing direct connect five months ago. This enables visitors to view American’s fares and schedules — and eventually customized travel products and services — and easily compare American’s products and services to those of other airlines, AA said.

The data from Direct Connect is transparent – AA’s fares and schedules look the same as what’s available on current global distribution systems (GDSs) — and has been including and will include data from GDSs.
