Virgin Atlantic Airways recently launched VS Confidential as a new website geared to helping travel agents learn about the different services that the airline has to offer. The site brings together virtual guided tours of different Virgin Atlantic jets, has destination and gateway information, passenger information, and agent resources.
Visitors to the page are greeted pleasantly with flirtatious “hello gorgeous,” then invited to register their information on the website. After this, the lovely virtual stewardess “Olivia” invites visitors to take a tour of the cabins and Clubhouses, while she answers questions (sorry, Miss Olivia is not available after work when her virtual tours are over-- I checked).
Aside from the alluring Miss Olivia, the site includes a comprehensive overview and route map of Virgin Atlantic’s direct flights, passenger information such as travel policies, information for ticket-related questions, and the latest news and updates.
Virgin Atlantic launched in 1984 and currently flies to 30 destinations around the world from its bases at London Heathrow and London Gatwick utilizing Airbus A340 and Boeing 747 aircraft.
