A new multi-year global distribution agreement between Amadeus and WestJet upgrades an existing contract, guaranteeing the airline’s participation in Amadeus at the highest level and assuring travel agents that WestJet’s fares, schedules and inventory are current and accessible through the Amadeus GDS. WestJet also will use enhanced functionality, such as interactive sell and dynamic availability, to put real-time airline data at agents’ fingertips.

“Taking a step further with Amadeus demonstrates our commitment to the agent channel and advances our market strategy,” said Catherine Dyer, WestJet vice president for distribution.

Amadeus has distribution agreements with airlines worldwide which ensure travel agents continued and efficient access to the full inventory of fare, schedule and seat data.

WestJet offers scheduled service throughout its 68-city network in North America and the Caribbean.
