Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) reports the first-ever expansion of its cruise3sixty conference outside of North America will take place in Sydney on February 7, 2014. The launch of cruise3sixty Australasia underscores CLIA’s commitment to travel agents worldwide and its reach as an advocate and marketing presence for the global cruise industry, the association says.
Marking the 10th anniversary of the cruise3sixty brand, cruise3sixty Australasia will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, Australia, and will feature a robust catalog of educational and informational sessions along with a trade show, CLIA says.
"Cruise3Sixty has set the standard for travel agent conferences and we now have an opportunity to showcase our outstanding programming in areas of the world experiencing tremendous cruise industry popularity and growth," says Christine Duffy, president and CEO, Cruise Lines International Association.
Bookings are open now for the conference, which will feature CLIA global president Christine Duffy along with cruise line representatives and industry leaders. Delegate registration for cruise3sixty Australasia is available at www.cruise3sixty.org.au.
CLIA also reports the 10th annual North American cruise3sixty conference and trade show is set for April 2-6 at the Broward Country Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. More than 700 agents have already signed up for the event, which will introduce 10 new CLIA seminars with a record 27 ships available for inspection, CLIA says. Last year’s conference held at the Vancouver Convention Centre drew more than 1,950 total delegates.
Information and registration for the 10th anniversary cruise3sixty in Fort Lauderdale is available at www.cruise3sixty.com. CLIA is encouraging agents to take advantage of early registration for first-choice of professional development sessions and ship inspections, as another sold-out conference is expected.
