Ensemble Travel Group welcomed World Travel, Inc., one of the largest privately held travel agencies in the U.S., as the organization’s newest member agency. Since 1983, World Travel has grown from a one office $500,000 company to its present size of five reservation centers, more than 80 in-house branch offices, over 350 employees, and total sales representing approximately $550 million.
According to Michael Farrell, vice president, corporate marketing and leisure sales, Ensemble Travel Group offers a collection of competitive products that will enable World Travel’s specialists to enrich their clients’ overall travel experiences with unique, value-added benefits. Programs such as Ensemble Hosted Cruises and the Ensemble Hotel and Resort Collection deliver authentic special experiences not often available through other travel agencies.
“We were looking for a partner who was both agent- and supplier-centric,” said Farrell. “There are many great consortiums out there, however Ensemble does the best job of making sure they are balanced on both ends and are able to provide benefits to everyone involved. World Travel was with Ensemble previously, and now we are very happy to be back.”
