Worldview Travel has announced the acquisition of Meyer-Franklin Travel in Bermuda. Worldview Travel, headquartered in Santa Ana, California, with branches across the U.S. and Canada, will merge Meyer-Franklin Travel with Worldview Travel Bermuda (formerly C Travel).
The acquisition is part of a strategy to drive growth and new employment opportunities in the travel sector on the Island and in the Caribbean region.
“We are confident that the merged entity will result in more efficient operations, the best pricing and an improved mix of products and services for the region,” said Ricci Zukerman, president and founder, Worldview Travel. “This is good for Bermuda’s travelers and for growth and employment prospects locally.”
This acquisition follows a series of recent acquisitions by Worldview Travel that include Worldview Travel Bermuda (formerly C Travel), The Travel Network and Travel Resources in Toronto, and The Travel Door of Palos Verdes, California.
Meyer-Franklin Travel will operate going forward under the Worldview Travel brand.
