Sheraton Soars in China

Starwood Hotels & Resorts is reaching a milestone in China: the country's 30th Sheraton, Sheraton Zhongshan Hotel. This is also Starwood's 60th property in China.

The company announced last week that it plans on opening eight more hotels in China before the year's end and 18 by 2015.

The Sheraton Zhongshan Hotel will over 362 guest rooms, three restaurants and a bar as well as 24,218 square feet of meeting space.

China-bound travelers can also look forward to the Sheraton Wuxi Binhu Hotel, Sheraton Tianjin Binhai Hotel, Sheraton Wenzhou Hotel, Sheraton Guangzhou Hotel, Sheraton Shanghai Hong Kou Hotel, Sheraton Jiangyin Hotel and Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula Resort, all slated to debut in 2010.
