Club Med Adds New Ski Resort in France

skierFor the upcoming season, Club Med has announced a new European ski resort - Val Thorens in France

Scheduled to open in December 2014, Val Thorens is Club Med’s newest addition to its ski portfolio. Representing an investment of nearly $106 million, this property will be the brand’s flagship new generation ski resort. The property will have direct access to The Three Valleys, the largest ski domain in the world.

Club Med is currently offering the travel agent booking incentive "Go For the Gold." Every time an agent books a client this fall to any Club Med ski resort in Europe or Asia, they will receive an additional bonus commission by gift card.  Agents will receive a Bronze $50, Silver $100 or Gold $200 gift card for eligible bookings valued at less than $5,000, between $5,000 and $10,000 and more than $10,000, respectively.

Additionally, each booking made will earn the travel agent one entry in a drawing to win an all-inclusive 7-night stay for two at Club Med Peisey-Vallandry, a family ski resort in the Savoy region of the French Alps. In addition, the winner will receive a $2,000 air credit towards travel expenses from the U.S. to Geneva, Switzerland.

Club Med ski resorts are all-inclusive, including transfers with air bookings, lift tickets, expert instruction, food and beverage, daily entertainment and accommodations. Club Med has partnered with Official French, Italian and Swiss Ski Schools for downhill or cross-country skiing and snowboarding coaching for all skill levels.
