Club Med is crowdsourcing its new ski resort in Val Thorens, France, by inviting the public to contribute to the creation of the company's future flagship snow resort in the French Alps on social media.

The collaborative campaign is divided into seven rounds of voting via a "My Val Thorens" app on the Club Med Facebook page. Through May 1, travelers will have the chance to vote on key aspects of the resort, from the property name and logo to interior design features and après-ski activities. Each vote cast provides participants with the chance to be named Club Med’s “V.I.P. fan” and be the first to experience the new resort with a seven-night stay for two during the exclusive inaugural event in December 2014.

Scheduled to open in December 2014, Val Thorens is Club Med’s newest addition to its ski portfolio. Representing an investment of nearly $106 million, this property will be the brand’s flagship new generation ski resort. The property will have direct access to The Three Valleys, the largest ski domain in the world.
