Sonesta Ocean Point Resort and Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa are wrapping up renovations following Hurricane Irma. Opening November 15 and February 1, 2019 respectively, the resorts will offer up to 45 percent off its normal rates. Reservations must be made by September 30 for stays through December 20, 2019.
In addition to the discounted rates, guests who book by September 30 will be entered to win a five-night all-inclusive stay for two. In October 2018, one winner will be chosen. In order to claim the five-night reward, guests must complete their original booked stay.
Sonesta Ocean Point Resort will reopen for guests November 15. The resort will be feature an upgraded contemporary style and the new tapas restaurant Casa Blue, located on the rooftop terrace. Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa will begin accepting guests again February 1, 2019. The family resort will also offer a new, more contemporary feel. Sonesta rebuilt both properties to include storm-resistant materials and new architectural innovations.
The two Sonesta resorts sit next to each other overlooking Maho Bay in St. Maarten. The adults-only Sonesta Ocean Point Resort features a fitness center, a wellness area, private cabanas, three pools, four bars and two restaurants. Guests will have access to all of its neighbor’s amenities.
Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa provides a large pool area, swim-up bar, five restaurants, five bars, a fitness center, sports courts, its Serenity Spa and its Casino Royale. Children can visit the resort’s Kids Club, Teen Zone, all-ages activities and separate kids pool with mini aqua park. Tours, car rental and motorized water sports are also available for an extra fee.
