With South African Airways, travelers can now save big on the “Captivating Cape Town” and “Affordable South Africa” packages.
The Captivating Cape Town package starts at $1,899 per person and takes travelers along the shares of the Atlantic Ocean and to the foot of Table Mountain. The city of Cape Town, the press release said, is “consistently ranked as one of the most beautiful cities in the world by leading travel publications,” and allows travelers to wander through sophisticated neighborhoods and to visit restaurants and museums. This package includes a full-day Cape Peninsula tour to view the scenery of Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope, located along the southwestern-most tip of Africa. There is also a half-day tour of the Cape Winelands region included, where travelers will visit some of South Africa’s award-winning wineries.
This package is good from August 11 to December 9, 2017 and comes with round-trip international economy class airfare with the airline from New York or Washington Dulles airports to Cape Town. The itinerary lasts five nights and guests will stay at the SunSquare Cape Town Hotel, where they will receive daily breakfast. Bookings on this tour should be made by August 13, 2017.
The “Affordable South Africa” package starts at $2,999 per person and includes the same tours as the Captivating Cape Town package, though it also includes a tour of an African safari in the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park. Travelers who book this package receive an added one-night bonus at the five-star Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge. They also receive the same round-trip airfare as the Cape Town package, and get to stay four nights at the four-star Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel in Cape Town, where breakfast is included daily. The next three nights will be spent at the Tree Game Lodge in the Pilanesberg National Park with all meals included. This package is available from September 1 through November 30, 2017, though bookings on this trip should be made by August 31, 2017.
Both packages have restrictions that apply.
