South African Airways Names New EVP for the Americas

South African Airways (SAA) has named Todd Neuman the executive vice president of the Americas. Neuman takes this position on immediately.

Neuman will be at the helm of different departments within SAA’s commercial division in North and South America, including sales, marketing, e-commerce, reservations and finance.

Neuman joined South African Airways in 2006 as head of sales, North America and has recently been serving as head of commercial, which made him responsible for the airline’s sales and marketing departments. Previously, Neuman held management positions at US Airways and World Travel Holdings. In total Neuman has 35 years of experience in the airline and travel industries.

The new executive VP for the Americas will remain based at the SAA regional offices in Fort Lauderdale.

SAA has served North and South America for over 45 years.

The airline also serves 74 destinations worldwide, including daily nonstop flights from JFK and direct flights from Washington D.C., (IAD) via Accra, Ghana and Dakar, Senegal to Johannesburg
