Delta Airlines has launched new direct service between New York's JFK Airport and Cape Town, South Africa. The announcement was made Monday night at a South Africa Tourism dinner in New York. Delta says the new direct flight is the first of its kind from the U.S. to the South African city/Western Cape capital.
The inaugural flight was June 3. Flights will depart from JFK daily at 3:55 p.m. Delta also offers direct service between Atlanta and Johannesburg. The U.S. is currently the second largest market for international arrivals to South Africa. Visit www.delta.com.
