Christine Wolff, 27
Saint Louis, MO
Furloughed by her agency in March due to the pandemic, Christine Wolff decided to continue working for the company, as she thought it was important for her to stand by her agency and coworkers and also show her clients that no matter what the circumstances were, she was there for them and their vacation investments. During this time, she also assisted her agency in coming up with an entirely new marketing approach and is currently assisting in developing a service fee structure for the agency. All this has resulted in her being called back to office from furlough.
Daughter of a travel advisor mother who has been in the industry for over 34 years, Wolff received her CTA certification from The Travel Institute in 2019. She says the most challenging trip that she has planned so far was for a blind couple who went on a 10-day European cruise with pre- and post-cruise land vacations and many tours included. She says the most difficult part of planning the trip was researching and finding travel suppliers that not only accommodated to the blind but also provided them with amazing experiences.
Praising her client-centric approach, Stacey Acree, executive vice-president of Brentwood Travel, says, “I would say Christine’s biggest gift is the way she listens to clients [and] then designs vacations that are perfectly tailored to their needs and even adds unique experiences to drastically enhance their trips…She wants to make sure each and every one of our clients is taken care of. This is what a rising star does, they put others first!”
