Jessica Causer, 29
A growing number of Millennials are not only looking to make a living selling travel, but also attempting to surpass the success of their predecessors. As the industry becomes more and more competitive, Jessica Causer says the driving force to exceed the expectation comes from a passion to learn about different countries, cultures and events around the globe. With the strong attributes she has, it seems as though she must be doing something right.
“As one of the highest revenue producing new agents for AAA Mid-Atlantic, I am considered an ‘up and comer,’” she says. “Even though I am still in my first year with the company, I am in the running for top agent in that category.”
She was also asked by upper management to provide guidance to other new agents “by sharing the steps I take to stay organized and be successful.” Causer currently holds a position as an international leisure travel agent, assisting clients in booking independent travel, cruises, guided vacations and dream trips globally.
Before joining AAA Mid Atlantic, Causer worked for Norwegian Cruise Line, receiving a Final Four award given to only four out of 1,000 employees each month for the dedication to their job and outstanding customer service. She received this award in her second month.
“Since joining my agency in Q3 2018, Jessica Causer has shown outstanding promise, very quickly being recognized in our company’s top sales lists, as well as fantastic performance in key metrics, including market share and overall revenues, and regional management has taken notice,” says David Laster, Manager AAA. “She has proven herself as an extremely dedicated agent, assisting with last-minute client emergencies, ready to assist and proactive to a fault.”
