Taylor Allen, 29
West Hollywood, CA
When Taylor Allen first began working in travel five years ago, she was hired as a receptionist with no prior experience in the industry. Within one month she was promoted to a position on the agency’s leisure team, and only four months later joined the president’s executive team, handling VIP clientele.
“Taylor is an invaluable asset to Bruvion and we are very lucky to have her,” says agency owner Jason Couvillion. “We trust her with managing our top very high profile clients as well as complicated music tours and productions. She is very good at keeping up with their high expectations, making suggestions for things that they may not know about, reaching out to vendors to ensure they know how to best take care of our clients, and staying on top of every aspect of every trip.”
Allen found success in travel even before coming to Bruvion, a member of Virtuoso, just over two years ago. She previously received Travel Agent Group’s Neophyte of the Year Award and continues to produce innovative itineraries for travelers in her current position.
“Presently, I oversee my own personal corporate and leisure clientele in addition to handling entertainment clients in my current travel manager position,” she tells us. “For younger people like myself who have grown up with [technology], travel is more just a way of life and so it’s a great time for young people to have a career in the travel industry.”
Although Allen uses the latest technology to plan itineraries, she continues to use Sabre for clients’ flights as well, maximizing air contracts to bring in maximum commissions. By using Sabre Taylor is able to bring in more money and save time when booking clients air directly in the system.
