St. Regis Unveils its Tallest Hotel Yet

Starwood Hotels and Resorts has debuted the St. Regis Shenzhen in China, now the world's tallest St. Regis hotel.

The 257 rooms and 40 suites offer views over the city. The rooms range in size from 430 square feet to 3,500 square feet. Each room has floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views, along with flat screen televisions and fully customized iPad2 remote controls.

Dining options include The St. Regis Bar and the Drawing Room, both on the 96th floor. We hear these facilities take guests back to the golden days of travel to Asia, back in the early 20th century, with classic cocktails and afternoon tea. On the 95th floor, Social offers all-day dining featuring international cuisine while Elba on the 99th floor has authentic Mediterranean dining and fine wines. Decanter, on the 100th floor, is a sky-high urban wine bar offering one of SHenzhen's largest selections of wines. Finally, the penthouse level is home to Malt and Library, a whisky and cigar bar featuring menus of single malts.

The Iridium Spa on the 75th floor spans a massive 7,500 square feet. It features eight treatment rooms, including two large couples suites and a Vichy Shower suite. Adjacent to the spa is an indoor infinity pool.
