For a look at what's sparking consumer interest this Christmas travel season, Priceline has released a list of the 25 most popular Christmas travel destinations, based on advance reservations.
Las Vegas takes the number one spot on the list of top 25 destinations for the December holiday period, followed by Orlando, New York City, Orange County and San Diego, all of which held on to a top five ranking from 2013 with the exception of San Diego, which replaced this year’s eighth place holder, Miami. The city to watch that made the biggest leap this year, however, was Fort Lauderdale, which moved 31 spots from 43 in 2013 to 12 in 2014.
