Sabre Launches Agent Community Building Tool

Sabre Travel Network has launched AgentStream, an online community for travel professionals to share knowledge and experience, which is now in the Beta-testing stage and will be rolled out in phases, first to TRAMS Marketing Alliance (TMA) member agents and then to all TRAMS Inc. subscribers. The tool will be available to all agents later this year.

AgentStream builds on the success of the Nexion Town platform announced earlier this year, according to Tony Brice, AgentStream’s project director. Nexion, a major host agency with 2,100 agents and part of Sabre Travel Network, won strong approval of its Town platform from Nexion member agents. AgentStream hopes to find an equally strong response from TMA and TRAMS agents.

Brice stressed AgentStream's value as a tool the agent community could use to reach out to one another. It allows for member profiles to be uploaded that describe the participating agents'  specializations, interests and experience. There is also a question and answer center where a dialogue between agents is encouraged. Agents will also be able to form interest groups on topics, problems or areas of common interest.

Brice sees AgentStream as a practical tool for agents to build a sense of community and collaboration. Visit www.agentstream.com
