LEGOLAND California Resort

Since 1999, LEGOLAND® California’s 128-acre theme park has provided families with hours of fun and excitement; but not twenty-four hours. That is, until now. After fourteen years, the LEGO® Company is building up to the grand opening of its first U.S. LEGOLAND® Hotel. Located just 30 miles north of San Diego in Carlsbad, California, the 250-room hotel will make its debut on the fifth of April.

The LEGOLAND® California Resort features an animated smoke-breathing dragon that guards the entrance. Inside, the hotel is decked out with 3,422 LEGO models created from three million colorful bricks. All 250 guest rooms are themed, so families can choose from one of three popular LEGO lines – Pirate, Kingdom or Adventure. The rooms include views of the Pacific and two separate sleeping areas. One has a queen-size bed, while the other sleeping area can accommodate up to three children with a bunk bed and a pull-out trundle bed. The new LEGOLAND® Hotel comes complete with a pool, restaurants, a lounge and a Castle Play area targeted to kids ages two through twelve.  Room rates start at $149.00.
