For more than 22 years, Angela Musso has designed and sold luxury travel to high-profile, high-net-worth VIP clients, bringing in more than $1.5 million a year in sales.
“She is well respected within the industry, as well as by her peers and her clients,” says agency co-president and co-owner Kimberly Wilson Wetty. “She is a leader in our leisure department and quick to mentor the new advisors that join VWT.”
She also interacts effortlessly with hotel owners, managers and sales directors to provide her clients with the highest level of service and attention. “This is evident in her large repeat business,” adds Wetty.
Musso says she is currently working on a “very bespoke,” four-month private jet “masterpiece” for very high-profile clients. “It spans the entire Southern Hemisphere [and] includes the use of private homes, villas and lodges as well as some of the most impressive luxury hotels, in addition to many exceptional and exclusive activities and excursions in 13 countries across five continents,” she says.
“Angela can effortlessly plan flawlessly designed itineraries throughout Europe, the UK, South America and South Africa, with a personal passion for trips to Italy,” says Wetty. “She handles very demanding, high-end VIP clients who have high expectations, requiring Angela’s personal attention until the client’s return home.”
Earlier this year, Musso “reversed gears” and designed a five-week, coast-to-coast U.S.-inbound trip for a large European family, which came to her as a referral from a former client. It took several months to plan, “with many revisions and more and more trip components added before the final product was presented,” says Musso. But the effort paid off. “It was very successful, and the family returned to Europe with many great American memories,” he adds.
Musso is “very passionate about efforts to save the African Elephant from extinction and to stop ivory poaching.” She has personally fostered two orphaned baby elephants that were rescued by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Nairobi, Kenya.
