Amadeus Expands Relationship with SAP

Amadeus has expanded its partnership with SAP AG, a leading provider of business software, to market an enhanced travel management and expense solution for corporations. The solution, built on the long-term partnership between Amadeus and SAP, is available now and will be marketed by both companies to corporations worldwide, including existing customers of SAP Travel Management.

“Companies are increasingly demanding seamless collaboration between finance, HR and travel management platforms as a means of improving travel processes and increasing workflow efficiency," said Claude Giafferri, vice president of travel office products and solutions of Amadeus. "Through our partnership with SAP, we are now delivering a powerful offering that meets these demands and avoids companies having to go through the pain of installing and migrating to new systems.”

Amadeus e-Travel Management helps corporations manage their global travel programs more efficiently and cost effectively. The travel expense management functionality in SAP Travel Management offers easy-to-use functions that expedite the entry and processing of travel expense reports, and streamline accounting and settlement processes. SAP Travel Management, part of the SAP ERP application, provides software that ensures substantial, immediate and ongoing savings.

For end-users, the integrated package achieves a more automated, seamless, speedier workflow, reducing the time required to process expense claims. For management, the solutions bring improved data accuracy and security, more accurate claims and a more comprehensive view of travel spending that enables greater travel program effectiveness.
