Austin Adventures has relaunched its website after an eight month planning and programming process. The sports adventure company's new design will allow visitors to use a range of tools, such as a trip finder service and world map on multiple devices, including mobile, tablet, desktop and laptop.
The redesign is all about appealing to the modern day traveler. “Before we began, we took a close look at our business and what our travelers are looking for,” said Dan Austin, president and founder of Austin Adventures. Consumer interaction has been a key emphasis. The website provides a crowd sourcing service which offers unbiased advice and suggestions, as well as travel journals which will make it easier for clients to read about and be inspired by their fellow traveler’s adventures. Vacationers can now also share their potential trips with family and friends by posting trip links through social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest.
An increase in travel resources has also been a main focus of the redesign. With everything from ‘tips on ‘how to plan your adventure vacation’, language advice and fun factoids, the company hopes to help leisure travelers understand their choices in a constantly expanding market.
In addition, the new website has enhanced its photo gallery. There are now over 399 albums including over 10,000 separate photos, as well as an adventure video section to inspire visitors and dreamers alike.
