Central Holidays Appoints New Director of Marketing

Central Holidays announced the appointment of Ester Lorusso to serve as director of marketing for the Central Holidays Travel Group.

Lorusso has been a key member of the Central Holidays team since 2007, overseeing a number of marketing functions for the Central Holidays Travel Group family of companies. This appointment expands Lorusso’s responsibilities and formalizes her role as director of marketing for the five travel brands under the Central Holidays Travel Group.

With more than 20 years of experience in marketing Italian and Mediterranean travel products, including Alitalia Airlines where she previously served as director of marketing, Lorusso boasts a background in marketing, strategic planning, sales and advertising. For the past four years Lorusso has managed the Central Holidays Travel Group’s marketing division, where she is now responsible for leading the in-house creation of all tour advertisements, brochures and collaterals as well as generating strategic marketing plans, product launches, building brand awareness campaigns and creating consumer and travel agent promotions. Lorusso also assists in the development of new products as well as identifying strategic opportunities within the tour and travel markets for the company’s numerous brands.

”Since she joined our team, Ester has implemented several successful marketing campaigns that have generated significant brand awareness for Central Holidays amongst consumers and travel professionals,” said Fred Berardo, president of Central Holidays. “We look forward to Ester’s continued growth within our company and greatly appreciate the contributions she makes to each of our brands.”

“I look forward to building upon my relationships with key industry players and creating even more incentives and offers for the valued travel agent community, as I continue to manage and oversee the marketing strategies and activities for the Central Holidays Travel Group,” Lorusso said of her new role.
