CIE Tours' Jim Kelly to Retire

jim kellyJim Kelly, a respected travel industry veteran and Vice President of National Accounts at CIE Tours International, has announced his retirement, effective August 30, 2013, according to Brian W. Stack, President and CEO of CIE Tours International, North America. 

Kelly, who joined CIE Tours in 1994, has been a leading force in the exponential growth of the company, which provides escorted motorcoach tours of Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales.

“Jim’s deep understanding of the travel industry, coupled with the personal relationships he has forged with key decision makers throughout his career, has made an indelible mark by establishing CIE Tours as the market leader it is today,” said Stack.  

Jim began his career in travel and tourism in 1961 with Aer Lingus, the Dublin-based national airline of Ireland, rising to the rank of National Sales Manager before retiring in 1994.
