Elisabeth Riedl and Betsie Hidalgo co-founded the company, saying they intend to offer unique insider experiences designed from a locals perspective in a written release.

Tours will be limited to a small group size, and will include accommodations, chauffeured black car transportation, three-course meals, photography sessions and access to insider New York experiences.

Over the next few months, the company plans to roll out additional New York City tours themed around culinary travel, shopping and the holidays, as well as Signature Tours that will offer a mix of local sights, city highlights and places associated with pop culture icons. City Chic Travel also offers personalized tours for private groups.

Looking ahead, next year the company plans to expand to offer tours in additional U.S. cities, including Miami, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
