Retailers who use their creativity to design a singular itinerary for a family vacation can win a trip or other prizes in Classic Vacations' latest agent incentive program. The wholesaler is launching the agents-only contest as a key element of its new Classic Gatherings promotion, which highlights family packages at a collection of hotels and resorts in Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe. Under the program, travelers receive such amenities as free children's meals, guaranteed connecting rooms, and spa and golf credits. As for retailers, the contest gives gift checks from American Express for first, second and third place, as well as a trip for four to a Beaches resort in Jamaica or Turks and Caicos. There also are bonuses in the travel agent STAR program for qualifying bookings.
