Dubai Desert Safari Tour Ops Operating Illegally

Only a fraction of the tour operators organizing desert safari tours from Dubai—10 out of 300—are licensed to conduct such business, according to The Khaleeg Times. The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) recently warned local hotel general managers about the illegality of booking clients on tours with unlicensed companies. Licensed tour operators include: Afridi Tourism, Arabian Island Tourism, Arabian Nights Tours, Lama Desert Tourism and Cargo, Net Tours and Travels, Oasis Palm Tourism, Orient Tours, Planet Travel Tours and Cargo, Royal Sands Tourism and Cargo, and Sun Flower Tours, according to the Khaleeg Times.
