Funjet Vacations has announced new charter service to two destinations in Mexico, as well as a new online library of marketing materials for travel agents.
The new scheduled air service will offer nonstop, daily flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Cancun (CUN) and Puerto Vallarta (PVR) on Southwest Airlines. Service to the destinations will be available for travel from February 1 – December 31, 2017.
To celebrate the launch, travel agents will earn 15 percent commission on all bookings through the new service and their customers will receive two free checked bags. The new service is being offered exclusively through travel agents, Funjet said, and adds to additional charter services available in Chicago, Baltimore, Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and St. Louis.
New Creative Connection Online Marketing Library
The Mark Travel Corporation, parent company of Funjet Vacations, has also released the new Creative Connection online library of marketing materials for travel agents.
The new, web-based design tool will be offered free of charge and replaces the tools currently available in the market with a more customizable and easy-to-use platform. Agents will be able to create, customize and personalize engagement and marketing assets.
The tool provides on-demand access to a list of modifiable vacation planning templates and offers agents the additional ability to customize a vacation recommendation specifically for one customer branded with the travel agents’ information. These assets are not only specific to the respective brands of Funjet Vacations, Southwest Vacations, United Vacations and Blue Sky Tours, but also provide access to pre-approved, hotel specific imagery and logos; destination media content; pricing and promotional flyers; vacation-themed guides; social media content; and more.
