Closing sales got easier as Funjet Vacations reports a newly revamped deposit policy by reducing deposits on published and bulk air vacations to $150 per person on Delta Air Lines and US Airways.
The lower deposits are available from gateways nationwide to all destinations including Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii, and the continental U.S., Funjet says. The deposit amount for Europe vacations is $300 per person.
This is in addition to the low deposit policies available with Funjet on other carriers such as American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and AirTran Airways in addition to Funjet’s charter and value flight program.
“The newly reduced published fare deposits combined with all of our flexible, low deposits on other carriers plus hotel only vacations gives us the best deposit policy in the industry,” said Mike Going, president of Funjet Vacations.
“We’ve had this in the marketplace for American, AirTran and Alaska, but now with the addition of Delta and US Airways, this really gives travel agents even more opportunities to close sales. This is also a change we made based on travel agent feedback, so we want them to know that we are definitely listening,” remarked Going.
