Gaylord Hotels have revealed details of their holiday experience program. These attractions will be housed in the brand's four resorts and will take place from mid-November through early January.
Guests at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee, Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas, Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, Florida and Gaylord National in Potomac, Washington DC will see a holiday transformation with a display 6 million Christmas lights, nearly 30,000 poinsettias and 8 million pounds of colorful ice sculptures at its signature ICE! Attraction across the four properties. Resorts will also be decked out with towering Christmas trees and oversized Christmas wreaths and ornaments.
Each hotel will also host the popular ICE! Attraction, an interactive frozen fantasy world. ICE! Themes this year will include Frosty the Snowman™ at Gaylord National and Gaylord Texan; The Nutcracker at Gaylord Palms; and 'Twas the Night Before Christmas at Gaylord Opryland. All new for 2014 is bonus area where visitors can watch a master ice carver in action creating intricate ice sculptures.
Not only will guests have the chance to meet with Santa, alongside participating in multiple other family-friendly events. Gaylord also offers interactive adventures with other DreamWorks favorites including Shrek and characters from Madagascar. Guests can dig into a character-themed feast and even have some fun at Gingy’s Gingerbread Decorating.
