Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit to Offer Multigenerational Wellness Week

From October 24-30, guests of the all-inclusive Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit will enjoy the first-ever multigenerational Wellness Week, which includes top chefs, vegan menus, culinary workshops, fitness activities and spa offerings. For travelers looking to fully immerse in wellness, the resort is offering a 30 percent savings on its Wellness Suites.

Wellness Week activities will vary by the day, with Vegan workshops led by Miguel Bautista and Ellen Kanner, including juicing and cooking classes, Vegan tastings and more. Kanner, The Miami Herald’s syndicated columnist the “Edgy Veggie,”  will head interactive seminars on five steps to conscious eating; easy ways to swap healthier choices without sacrificing flavor or culinary authenticity; and plant-based food and sensuality. Bautista, Co-founder of Vegan Planet, Mexico, will teach about veganism and raw foods. Fitness activities range from yoga led by the director of Mexico’s Yoga Institute; Pilates; meditation; CrossFit and more.

The spa will also be offering multigenerational treatments, with specific services for babies, children, teens, women, men and mature adults. The resort’s restaurants will also be offering vegan, gluten free and vegetarian alternatives to their regular menus.

The resort’s Leading Spa of the World offers 20 treatment suites and more than 30 spa treatments. The resort also hosts a 24-hour fitness center, 24/7 in suite services, water sports, a business center, tennis courts a baby concierge, Kids Club and teen lounge during the holidays.

All Wellness Week activities are included in the nightly rates of the AAA Five Diamond resort.

The duplex Wellness Suites offer special in-suite fitness amenities, a complimentary massage on the suite’s private rooftop, personal training and a nutrition consultation, among other extras. The 1750 square-foot suites come complete with a personal Wellness Concierge to provide counsel on spa treatments and any in-room amenities, including a yoga mat, dumbbells, resistance bands, and a Life Fitness Activate Series Recumbent Lifecycle Exercise Bike. In addition to the in-room massage and personal training session, the suiet includes an Alchimia Apothecary Aromatherapy Kit and a Vitamin C Sprinkler that light sprays guests on command with Vitamin C essential oils within the shower. Other room accommodations include a Nikken Kenko pillow, comforter and LED Lamp with a clock and timer that gradually increases to simulate dusk and dawn.

Resort rates start at $309 per person per night, based on double occupancy. With accommodations, the Wellness Suites start at $384 per person per night based on double. The resort’s all-inclusive rates include luxury accommodations, a la carte gourmet meals in multiple restaurants, premium beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, taxes, gratuities and more.
