Groups Can Do a Good Deed at Ritz-Carlton Meetings

Groups meeting at Ritz-Carlton resorts in the Caribbean can have 10 percent of their total room revenue donated equally to a charity of their choice and to causes supported by Community Footprints, the social responsibility program sponsored by The Ritz-Carlton.

The offer is part of Ritz-Carlton’s “Meaningful Meetings” initiative for groups booking 10 or more room nights at any Ritz-Carlton hotel or resort in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. It is applicable to bookings made by December 31, 2007, for meetings taking place prior to December 30, 2008.

In the Caribbean, groups can meet at the Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, Rose Hall, Jamaica; the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman; the Ritz-Carlton, San Juan Hotel, Spa & Casino; and the Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas.

Donations will be made directly by Ritz-Carlton to the group client’s charity of choice and to the Community Footprints Fund, which benefits hunger and poverty relief, education and development for disadvantaged youth, and environmental conservation. For more information, agents should contact Marcia Mollere, Ritz-Carlton’s area director of sales for the Caribbean and Mexico, at [email protected].
