Golf aficiandos looking for a prime green can take their cue from Marriott Golf. Among its 58 courses golf courses in 12 countries, which draw 1.6 million golfers every year, this spring the resort golf management organization's courses will be hosting none other than the likes of two PGA TOUR World Golf Championship showcase events, as well as the LPGA tournament.
Next week, the World Golf Championships - Accenture Match Play Championship will take place February 23-27 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain in Marana, Ariz. Next month, the World Golf Championships - Cadillac Championship (the longest continuously running PGA TOUR event in Florida) will follow, March 10-13 at Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, for its 49th year.
The following week, the LPGA's RR Donnelley Founders Cup, will take place March 16-21 at Wildfire Golf Club at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Ariz. This year is the first year that Marriott Golf will have hosted three professional championships.
