The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is re-introducing its Keiki Club Adventures, a daily kids program.

Designed with family travelers in mind, “keiki” (children in Hawaiian), will have the chance to participate in supervised crafts, outdoor activities, and cultural experiences, with rotating daily themes.

Activities may include shell hunting, hiking to ancient Hawaiian trails, caves, and lava tubes, visiting nearby fish ponds, streams, and gardens, and finding treasures at Kauna'oa Bay. Parents are welcome to sit in on other daily activities including crafts, music, and “talk story” sessions.

The daily program is for children ages five through 12, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and costs $125 per full day (or $75 per half day). The full-day package includes lunch, snacks, and beverages.

Daily Keiki Club Adventures themes include:

  • Surf & Shaka Sunday
  • Manta Monday
  • Taro Tuesday
  • Warrior Wednesday
  • Turtle Thursday
  • Fishy Friday
  • Seashell Saturday

Reservations for Keiki Club Adventures are open to registered Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel guests and resort homeowners, and are to be completed with concierge by 5 p.m. the day prior.
