Princeville Golf Courses Add Carts for Those With Disabilities

Princeville Golf Courses on Kauai now provides golfers with disabilities the option of using the SoloRider cart, specially designed for such players. SoloRider looks like a conventional cart, but its custom features include the ability to traverse tees and greens without damaging the turf. In addition, the single-rider cart has a seat that pivots electronically so that golfers can play their shots without leaving the cart if they wish. With this addition, Princeville joins the ranks of such courses as Pebble Beach Golf Links and Half Moon Bay Golf Links in Florida, the Walt Disney Resort in Florida, and the network of Tournament Players Club courses. At Princeville, use of the cart is included in the green fee, but players should be sure to reserve a cart ahead of time so that is ready and available for their tee time.
