Tauck Expands Egypt Itinerary

Tauck World Discovery [www.tauck.com] is adding a second Egypt itinerary after exceeding its 2006 passenger goal by more than 50 percent. Tauck only began offering Egypt trips last year and has increased its departure dates by 55 percent. The new "Egypt & Jordan: Timeless Treasures, Ancient Lands" package starts at $4,990 and includes nine days in Egypt, a three-night Nile River cruise and five days in Jordan. Unique highlights include a felucca ride on the Nile, visit with a Bedouin family near Petra and a camel ride in the shadow of the Pyramids. The tour will be offered each month except June and July as will the 11-day "Egypt: Jewels Along the Nile" itinerary which will be offered throughout 2007.
