Tauck has been named the winner in a “Top Workplaces” survey conducted recently by newspaper publisher Hearst Connecticut Media and the research firm WorkplaceDynamics. The survey ranks mid-sized companies within Connecticut’s Fairfield, New Haven and Litchfield Counties.

The award comes as the company marks its 90th anniversary. In February, members of the Tauck family, Tauck’s employees, the company’s board members and key partner-suppliers all gathered at Chateau Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies for a four-day anniversary celebration. To mark the actual anniversary of the first-ever Tauck tour, which began on July 12, 1925, Tauck groups traveling across the world on that date enjoyed special receptions and other observances. Tauck will also celebrate its New York-area roots in October when it joins filmmaker Ken Burns in hosting its sold-out, five-day “Tauck New York City Event” in Manhattan. And Tauck heads into the final months of the year with preparations well underway to relocate to a new office space nestled into wooded surroundings in nearby Wilton, Connecticut.

The Top Workplaces rankings are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, and winners were announced recently at a gala dinner in southwestern Connecticut. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution, and Connection. This is the fifth year that Hearst Connecticut Media and WorkplaceDynamics have partnered on the survey.
