Elizabeth Crabill has been appointed President of Travel Bound and GTA in North America, joining from Lindblad Expeditions where she was VP Sales and Marketing.
Crabill has held a number of senior marketing and sales positions in the travel, financial services and media sectors. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is an executive board member of the Association of Travel Marketing Executives. She says: “This is a vital and still-growing market and – with increased attention on this industry as a driver for the economy and jobs – I look forward to strengthening relationships that will bring our travel industry customers even more bookings and help them succeed,” she said in a statement.
Nigel Horne, Senior Vice President FIT Sales & Marketing , Americas and Asia-Pacific at GTA and Kuoni Global Travel Services, said that the team is looking to increase domestic and outbound business in North America as key part of the company's global strategy, and that Crabill's participation would be a key factor in that growth.
