Travel Leaders Corporate has announced a new offering, Financial Solutions, aimed at driving return on investment and cost savings in business travel through a team of experts in finance and sourcing.
Prospective Financial Solutions clients do not have to be a travel management client of Travel Leaders Corporate in order to take advantage of the offering. On average, Travel Leaders Corporate’s clients using this new program have seen a reduction of five to seven percent of their aggregate business travel spend, Travel Leaders said.
Each Financial Solutions client is paired with a three person team comprised of three distinct disciplines: finance, sourcing, and industry expertise. A client financial analyst provides expertise on ROI, a strategic sourcing analyst serves as an advocate for supplier leverage, and a strategic program manager keeps tabs on the latest travel trends.
The Financial Solutions team consolidates all the information for each individual client, into individualized data stacks. This process includes integrating with expense systems and credit card feeds; consolidating back office information and global data; and integrating with general ledger systems to capture the accrual and G/L adjustment layer – allowing clients to track their savings directly against their actual 10K, 10Q, or other financial statements.
Financial Solutions’ interface portrays the data and provides insights that help clients make informed decisions. Tracking KPIs that include buyer power, trip choices, geographic impact, ancillaries (in-flight purchases, upgrades, Wi-Fi charges) and hundreds of other details contribute to painting a clearer picture of each travel operation.
