Virgin Vacations Offers Asia Tour Savings

Clients looking for destinations where the U.S. dollar buys more can head to Asia, Virgin Vacations reports. When compared to last year, in India the U.S. dollar buys 20 percent more - or 54 rupees, and 13 percent more lira in Turkey – or 1.78, while the dollar is slightly ahead in Thailand, at 31 baht. To make its point, now through June 22, Virgin Vacations has put select escorted tours to these destinations on sale, with $200 per person savings.

13 Day “Affordable Turkey” for Thanksgiving: From $759 land only, $1459 with airfare
Clients can visit Turkey for Thanksgiving, and save $200 per person on Virgin Vacation’s 11-day “Affordable Turkey” escorted tour, when booked by June 22. Beginning and ending in Istanbul, the tour covers the country’s major highlights. 
Other “Affordable Turkey” departures - also $200 off if booked by June 22 - start October 30. 2012 and run through March 28, 2013, with prices from $759, land only for select dates in November, December , and  February. Virgin Vacations’ 13-day “Classic Thailand” escorted tour itinerary begins with 3 nights in Bangkok, then goes north to Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai, en route overnighting in the ancient cities of Ayutthaya and Sukhotha. Two nights each are spent in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.
