AA Adds Three International Routes from New York

American Airlines (AA) is expanding its international presence in New York this spring with three new routes between JFK International Airport and San Jose, Costa Rica; Madrid, Spain; and Manchester, England. Flights to San Jose begin April 6, while service to Madrid starts May 1, and flights to Manchester begin May 13. The new San Jose service will be available five days a week, while the Madrid and Manchester flights will depart daily.

The enhanced schedule brings the number of international destinations American serves from New York to 31— nine cities in Europe, 18 destinations in the Atlantic, Caribbean and Latin America, three in Canada, and American's daily nonstop flight to Tokyo.

New York-San Jose flights depart the Big Apple at 3:35 p.m. every day except Friday and Sunday, landing in Costa Rica at 7:15 p.m. Return flights leave San Jose at 8:25 a.m. and arrive in JFK at 3:40 p.m. every day except Saturday and Monday.

New York-Madrid flights take off from JFK at 5:25 p.m. and land in Spain at 7:20 a.m. The return route departs Madrid at 10 a.m. and arrives in New york at 12:20 p.m.

New York-Manchester flights leave the Big Apple at 7:05 p.m. and land in England at 7:55 a.m. Return service departs Manchester at 11:10 a.m. and arrives in New York at 1:55 p.m.
