Aeromexico and Panasonics Avionics have announced they will be working together to bring live television to four Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircrafts.
While only four Boeings will receive live television to start, the plan is to upgrade all nine Dreamliners to offer the service. The first two channels to be offered are CNN International and Sport 24, which is owned and operated by IMG.
The service will be available to passengers from both the seatback inflight entertainment and communications system and on their own personal electronic devices.
Sport 24 offers live coverage of the world's most popular sporting events, such as the Rio 2016 Olympics Games, Premier League, NFL, UEFA Champions League, NBA, Tennis Grand Slams, Bundesliga, Formula 1, Golf Majors, MotoGP, and the Ryder Cup.
The service will begin rolling out throughout August.
