In an effort to promote international attendance at Tianguis Turistico 2013, Mexico’s global airline, Aeromexico, is offering charter flights from Chicago, Los Angeles and New York to Puebla, Mexico, the chosen locale for this year’s event.
Tianguis Turistico is a promotional business convention hosted by Mexico with the support of the Consejo de Promocion Turistica de Mexico (‘Mexico Tourism Board’) and the government of the state of Puebla. The three day event will take place between March 17, and March 20. The main objective of the event is to boost the Mexican tourism industry. The country will present all of its best products and services to better market Mexico as a tourist location, thereby increasing the number and flow of foreign and local visitors. Over the course of three days, 550 businesses will interact with domestic and international buyers from more than 600 purchasing companies from 42 countries.
As one of the 550 business at Tianguis Turistico, Aeromexico is doing its part to make the event a success by providing the flights from Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York to Puebla. These flights will allow speakers and prospective foreign promoters from Europe, Asia and Africa to take part in one of the national and international tourist industry's principal platforms held in Mexico. The routes in question will be serviced by Boeing 737's with a capacity for 124 passengers, 12 of them in Premier Class.
