Air Jamaica Temporarily Increases Baggage Allowance From Florida

Just in time for the spring travel season, Air Jamaica has announced an increase in baggage allowance on all flights between Fort Lauderdale, FL and Jamaica from now through May 31.  Passengers will be allowed to check one additional bag free of charge. This means that passengers in Economy class may check up to three pieces of baggage, while passengers in Lovebird Executive class may check up to four pieces.

The extra piece of baggage is subject to space availability and should not exceed the airline’s standard baggage guidelines of 50 pounds and total maximum dimensions of 62 inches. From all other Air Jamaica gateways, the free checked baggage allowance remains two free pieces in Economy class, and three free pieces in Lovebird Executive class.
