AirTran Airways launched new daily nonstop service from Indianapolis International Airport to San Francisco International Airport. The service is operated on Boeing 737 aircraft. AirTran Airways launched new nonstop service from Indianapolis to Los Angeles on May 9, and will add a second nonstop flight June 20. By the end of June, the airline will fly to eight nonstop destinations from Indianapolis, including Atlanta; Fort Lauderdale, FL (seasonal); Fort Myers, FL; Los Angeles; Orlando; San Francisco; Sarasota/Bradenton, FL (seasonal) and Tampa, FL.
