AirTran Airways Takes Off from Westchester

AirTran Airways has launched daily nonstop service from New York's Westchester County Airport (HPN) to Atlanta and to Orlando and West Palm Beach, FL. Westchester County Airport, located in White Plains, N.Y., is the third New York area airport served by AirTran, which also flies from LaGuardia and Newark Liberty International. The airline's new service from White Plains will offer connections to more than 35 other cities. New flights will be operated by Boeing 717 aircraft.
