AirTran Airways launched a sale for travel to and from destinations the airline flies to from Atlanta, with fares as low as $49 one way. Available for purchase through May 4, the fares are good for travel through Oct. 4. Lowest sale fares require a 14-day advance purchase and are valid for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays with additional sale fares available for travel other days. Travel does not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay. Sample one-way fares include Atlanta to Boston for $89, Atlanta to Charlotte for $69 and Atlanta to Tampa $79.
